Summary/Objective:

We are looking for an experienced and well-rounded Senior Superintendent to join our team.
This job will require travel between multiple jobsites located throughout the Upstate.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
- Will include onsite supervision of construction projects, scheduling, daily reporting to company and clients. This position requires individual judgment and decision making within the guidelines of the company.
- Mentor and develop field team members, working to foster a collaborative environment among project teams, subcontractors and owners
- Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction, ensuring that projects remain on schedule and within budget
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Self-starter
- Degree in Construction Science or related field is preferred
- Proven experience in construction management, particularly in a supervisory role, with a solid understanding of construction processes and methodologies
